Do I need and EPC

YES, as from 1st October 2008 where a dwelling is being sold an Energy Performance Certificate (EPC) will be required.

There are fixed penalties for failing to provide an EPC or make one available when required. The fixed penalty for dwellings is £200 per dwelling. There is a six month time limit for any enforcement action to be taken.

Don’t worry we will instruct a domestic energy assessor to carry out the EPC.
